The BEAR Essentials - Keywords
When it comes to creating a successful Google Ads campaign, you need to get the basics down. It all starts with a well put together keyword list.
Firstly, you need to have a good think about what someone, or yourself, would type into Google to find your product or service. Write down and couple of keywords which you think are relevant then type them into Google. If this brings up results similar to your product or service, then you are on the right lines!
Once you have a couple of keywords, there are a few tools we can use to expand them into a well rounded keyword list. The first being Google's Keyword Planner which is located within Google Ads itself. Simply type in one of your keywords (or even your website url) and it will generate similar keywords automatically. Simply export this list and remove any which you deem not to be appropriate.
Another method would be typing in the starting few words of your initial keywords into Google search and having a look at the auto-generated results Google predicts for you.
You should now have a well rounded keyword list which incorporated both specific and more generic terms.
